The Grivel Air Tech New Classic EVO is, as the name suggests, a lightweight technical 12-point crampon designed for mixed ascents with both rock and ice. The12 short steel points, 8 of which are front and 4 rear are arranged to tackle varied terrain and snow and ice of different angles. The position of the points is designed to keep the foot steady during ascents, descents and traverses. The Grivel Air Tech New Classic Crampon adapts to any type of boot thanks to the rigid regulation bar in the middle and are quick and easy to fit with tool free adjustment and the durable plastic toe and heel cups that provide a secure fit. This model also comes with an additional Flex Bar that can be fitted for less technical terrain.
