The result is a luxurious coffee characterised by a gentle aroma, notes of tropical fruit, berries and flowers, as well as subtle hints of wine. The coffee belt is a horizontal strip of land located between the Northern and Southern Tropics. Found in the space between the 25th parallel north and the 25th parallel south, the coffee belt girds the Equator, which crosses Central and South America, Asia and Africa. The countries within the area of the coffee belt are thought to offer ideal conditions for coffee plantations. This is why our specialty coffee blends are based on parallels — for the ideal coffee flavour. The number assigned to each blend symbolises the difference between the highest northern and the lowest southern parallels located in a given continent and belonging to the coffee belt.
