Overview

Experience the flavours of America in your cup! "Parallel 36" is an arabica bean blend combining specialty coffee varieties from El Salvador and Brazil. The result is an enticing coffee characterised by a rich aroma, as well as notes of chocolate, peanuts, wood and flowers. The coffee belt is a horizontal strip of land located between the Northern and Southern Tropics. Found in the space between the 25th parallel north and the 25th parallel south, the coffee belt girds the Equator, which crosses Central and South America, Asia and Africa. The countries within the area of the coffee belt are thought to offer ideal conditions for coffee plantations. This is why our specialty coffee blends are based on parallels — for the ideal coffee flavour. The number assigned to each blend symbolises the difference between the highest northern and the lowest southern parallels located in a given continent and belonging to the coffee belt. That's how three coffee blends of the highest quality were born: "12" from Ethiopia and Tanzania, "17" from India and Papua New Guinea, and "36" from El Salvador and Brazil.Ingredients: ground roasted coffee.Storage conditions: store in a dry, cool place.
