The FS1400/2-LR32 rail is a dual-purpose guide rail. You can use this as a conventional guide rail with a Festool circular saw TS-55 or TS-75 for cutting sheet material. The integral splinter guard aligns perfectly with the cut line. This saves time when setting-up and prevents tearout when cutting. This rail is 1,400mm (55") long for cuts up to 1,245mm (49"). Guide rail connectors are available, enabling you to join 2 or more rails for longer cuts. Used with the LR 32-SYS hole drilling set and a Festool 1010 or 1400 router, the rail forms part of a highly accurate hole drilling system for producing Euro 32mm system cabinets. It is quick to set up, efficient and easy to use, forming a portable line drilling system for 32mm system shelf pins and hardware. The rail and drilling set combination allows you to carry out bespoke work on site with the same accuracy as dedicated workshop machinery. Using a guide rail allows you to take the tool to the work, saving time and money.
