Overview

A compact but vigorous variety of Lupinus with rich flower colour. The Lupin ‘Persian Slipper’ is a herbaceous perennial shrub with clump-forming foliage made up of small, palmately divided, narrow, light green leaves which sit beneath the tall, upright stems carrying dense spires of deep, violet-blue flowers speckled with white which appear throughout the Summer. A great option for cottage garden displays. Plant in moderately fertile, moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Prefers neutral to slightly acidic soils. Avoid waterlogging, especially in Winter as this may cause root rot.
