Overview

Our Potted Cyclamens are gorgeous, tuberous perennial plants. They are late bloomers, producing their colourful flowers in Winter, right through to Spring. A perfume-like fragrance gives the plants a lovely aroma and the deciduous, green and silver marked foliage will contrast very well against the blooms. They will appear on long, upright stems that allows the large flowerheads to stand out very easily. Expect less eye-catching colour in Summer - this is the plants dormant stage, largely due to the rise in temperature. When caring for this plant, it will prefer being placed in full sun or partial shade. The soil should always remain moist and well-drained, whilst ensuring you don't overwater the plant as the tubers will rot if given too much. It is best to wait until the soil is dry to touch before giving it more water. You can purchase these Cyclamens in amounts of 3, 6 or 12 9cm potted plants. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower’s pot. Characteristics: Hardy, tuberous perennials that produce an array of colourful, large flowerheads from Winter through to Spring. The eye-catching colour is joined by foliage with a gorgeous, perfume-like fragrance. The leaves also bear green and silver markings that contrast very well against the blooms. Growth & Spread: Grows to around 0.5m tall and roughly 0.5m wide over the course of 2-5 years. Period of Interest: Flowers appear in Winter and last through to Spring. Autumn is when foliage will show, again, continuing through to Spring. The plant will then enter its dormant stage in Summer due to the rise in temperature. Water & Maintenance: You should water when the soil is dry to the touch, ensuring the soil is moist and well-drained. Avoid overwatering as this will cause its tubers to rot.
