Our Indie triple sleeper is a fantastic piece of furniture. It is a bunk bed but instead of two single beds, a triple sleeper has a double bed underneath and a single bed on top. This means the bed can sleep 3 people! Great for multi-person households. The beds can also be split to become separate beds. Giving you both a single bed and double bed! This is great future-proofing when the time comes for your kids to be in their own rooms. Equally, if you are looking to buy multiple beds, this could be an alternative solution. Need a mattress? We recommend either our 12cm or 15cm deep memory foam mattresses for the top bunk for safety reasons to prevent falling out. All our mattresses would be suitable for the bottom double bunk. Age: Although bunk beds are suitable for children of most ages, it is generally recommended that the top bunk should be used by children aged 6 and upwards for safety reasons. The bottom bunk can be used from ages 4 and up. The lower bottom bunk of this triple sleeper makes this an ideal bed for older kids and teenagers. Why bunk beds? Bunk beds are essentially 2 beds in 1. They are stacked one above each other making them great space savers, especially if you have multiple children in the home and/or small rooms where you need to make the most of the space. A triple sleeper especially is versatile and a great choice for a number of reasons. The double bed could be used for many reasons such as for older kids or teenagers sleeping on their own, or also for younger children allowing space for the parent to sleep alongside in case of nightmares during bed transitions.
