The Gear Table table lamp designed by the Swedish designer Johan Lindstén is characterised by an extensive light and an interesting appearance and spreads an industrial flair in the room, which is primarily achieved by the gears built into the base. Levers can be used to adjust the incline of the two arms. As when changing gears in a car, the gears lock into place every time the lever is moved. The matt black painted surface of the light underlines the industrial look and provides an interesting contrast - for example with a light-coloured interior. Even more flexibility is provided by the dimmer switch that is integrated into the 200 cm cable. This can be used to turn the light on and off, as well as to dim it. In his independent design studio, the designer Johan Lindstén has dedicated himself to the task of giving industrial products a personality. In the case of the Gear series of lights, it is the gears that give the lights an industrial touch and place the focus on the user thanks to the use of a lever for manual adjustment.
