This 1953 Vintage Coronation Memento is hard to categorise.It may be a shaving mug but is it possibly too deep for that or it may be a toothbrush holder? Or indeed a large tea cup? It may even be just a pretty mug for display purposes only.In any case, it's a fine example of British craftsmanship.The vivid colours have lasted well, no transfer slippage and only very minor colour fading.No chips, no cracks.
